Star Tavern accommodates walk-ins and groups but does not currently offer reservations or dedicated private event space.

We are open Monday from 11am to 9pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 11am-10pm; and on Sunday 12 pm to 9 pm.

There’s ample parking available in two dedicated lots: one right in front of the restaurant and a larger lot next door at 375 Washington Street.

No, we do not offer gluten-free or vegan options due to the size of our single kitchen and the risk of cross contamination.

We do have options specifically for kids (under 12), which are listed on our regular menu.

We can. We will do our best to make the necessary table adjustments to best accommodate your party.

The Star Tavern is handicap accessible and fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We do not have private rooms, nor do we rent the restaurant out for any purpose.

No, you cannot BYOB. We have a full bar and outside alcohol (or food) is not allowed.

For itemized receipts within 30 days of an issued check, please email a request to wpv521@gmail.com with the date, approximate time, and price of your order. We will do our best to locate and send your a digital copy of your receipt.

We take pride in the many charitable efforts we partake in that positively benefit the surrounding communities. All requests should be submitted on your organization’s official letterhead with your donation request and mailed to Star Tavern ATTN: Charitable Request, 400 High Street, Orange, NJ 07050. Unfortunately we receive large amounts of requests and cannot honor all that we receive. Please accept our apology in advance if we are unable to fulfill your request.
